Blind Cricket NSW fosters, administers and promotes the game of Blind Cricket in New South Wales, Australia.
Blind cricket, as the name suggests, can be played by anyone with a vision impairment or who is considered to be legally blind.
Blind Cricket is Local
A majority of BCNSW's games are played on our new home ground at Bankstown Memorial Oval, 195 Chapel Road South, Bankstown NSW Australia.
Come along and find out about Blind Cricket. The season runs from October until the end of March.
We are always looking for volunteers.
Blind Cricket is National
The 2020 National Cricket Inclusion Championships (NCIC) were held in Geelong, Victoria in late January 2020.
Blind Cricket is International
It is currently anticipated that Australia will not participate in another international tournament until 2021 and when it is hoped that a T20 or ODI World Cup for Blind Cricket will be held. World Blind Cricket will further make a determination on a venue and dates shortly.
The Australian Blind Cricket team has toured such countries as England, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, UAE and the West Indies.
NSW win 2020 NCIC Blind and Low Vision Title for the Third Consecutive Year
New South Wales has claimed its third successive Blind and Low Vision Title at the National Cricket Inclusion Championships in Geelong in late January 2020.with NSW defeating South Australia in the final.
